2024 marks a significant milestone in the world of youth lacrosse as Hopkins boys lacrosse and St. Louis Park boys lacrosse unite! This fusion mirrors the successful model already established with the Varsity program today, where athletes from both communities have been playing together. This integration at a younger age promises numerous benefits: it not only enhances the level of competition and skill development but also fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie among the players. By joining forces, these young athletes will now benefit from a broader pool of resources, coaching expertise, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with teammates from different backgrounds. This significant step is a testament to the progressive vision of both programs, dedicated to nurturing talent and sportsmanship from a young age, and paving the way for a stronger, more united future in lacrosse

NEW BOYS CHEST PAD RULES IN 2021 AND 2022

To protect against Commotio Cordis*, USA Lacrosse has implemented new rules that boys chest and shoulder pads must meet NOCSAE certification (See logo to the right).  These pads have been approved by NOCSAE.  Boys goalies must use the certified chest pads as of 1/1/2021.  Other boys players must use the certified shoulder/chest pads as of 1/1/2022.  Boys will not be able to participate without these certified chest/shoulder protectors!
