Box Lacrosse
Registration Starts January 1, 2026
Indoor Box Lacrosse is just prior to the sport's main season (Spring Field Lacrosse) which makes it a great skills based warm-up to the spring season. Its played in hockey rinks converted with turf with 5 runners and 1 goalie. This league is offered only for 10U and 12U.
Ages
2026 Season Age Ranges are as follows:
10U: Birthdays from 9/1/2015 - 8/31/2017
12U: Birthdays from 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2015
When
Box Season: Early March - Mid April
Practices
Practices are held at the Hopkins Pavilion on the Turf Field.
Tentative Schedule
10U: 2/week, Tu/Th 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
12U: 2/week, Tu/Th 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Games
Games are held on Saturdays & Sundays, mid-March to mid-April. Games run between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Equipment
Helmet, mouthguard, stick, gloves, elbow pads, and shoulder/chest pads.

Jerseys
A reversable jersey and game shorts are provided and included in the registration fee. No additional cost is added.
Volunteering
We ask that families volunteer once each season for the following:
- Post Game Snack
- Timer/Scoreboard
Cost
*USA Lacrosse Membership of $35 must be purchased or renewed once in 2026

Total Cost: $270.
- $20 Non-refundable deposit due at registration.
- $125 Payment on 3/1/2026 and 4/1/2026
12U
Total Cost: $290.
- $20 Non-refundable deposit due at registration.
- $135 Payment on 3/1/2026 and 4/1/2026

What equipment does my child need?
10U/12U need a helmet, mouthguard, stick, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder/chest pads. Limited equipment is available to through the association. For more information, see the Required Equipment page.
What about goalies?
The association provides Goalie Gear if needed.
