Field Lacrosse
Registration Starts January 1, 2026
Spring Field Lacrosse is the sport's main season. Its played outdoors on a grass or turf field that is about the size of a football field at the 12U and older level (smaller for younger ages). This league is offered for 6U - 12U. Summer Field Lacrosse is an additional season directly after Spring with practices and games played M-Th.

2026 Season Age Ranges are as follows:
6U: Birthdays from 9/1/2019 - 8/31/2021
8U: Birthdays from 9/1/2017 - 8/31-2019
10U: Birthdays from 9/1/2015 - 8/31/2017
12U: Birthdays from 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2015
*14U: Birthdays from 9/1/2011 - 8/31/2013 (see description above)
When
Spring Season: April - June, 2026
Spring State Tournament: June 5-7
Summer Season: Mid June 9 - July Mon-Thu (Weekends off)
Summer State Tournament: July 18-19 (6U-10U), July 24-26 (12U-14U)
Where
Outdoor Practices are held at Hopkins High School (April) the St. Louis Park Middle School (May-July)
Pre-Season indoor practices are held at the Hopkins Pavilion on the Turf Field.
Games may be played across the Twin Cities Metro area.

Planned Spring Schedule
6U: 1/week, Mon 6:30p-7:30p
8U: 2/week, Tu/Th 5:00p-6:30p
10U: 2/week, Tu/Th 6:30p-8:00p
12U: 2/week, Mon/Wed 6:30p-8:00p
Games
Teams schedule 6 to 16 games (depending on age) throughout seven playable weekends. Game schedules are created at an annual meeting in March.
Jerseys
A reversable jersey and game shorts are provided and included in the registration fee. No additional cost is added.

We ask that families volunteer once each season for the following:

What equipment does my child need?
6U boys only need a stick and gloves. 8U/10U/12U/14U need a helmet, mouthguard, stick, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder/chest pads. Limited equipment is available to through the association. For more information, see the Required Equipment page.
What about goalies?
The association provides Goalie Gear if needed. No goalies in 6U/8U play.
